Why the Need for Good Water?

Water is critical to our health.  Our bodies are about 55 to 75% water.  It is essential to our lives and our survival to drink good water.  It is easy to forget how much we depend on good water.  In fact next to oxygen it is the most essential requirement for life.  Since 2/3 of our body weight is comprised of water, it only makes sense that water must contribute to the function and overall health of our body.  The water we drink literally becomes a part of us... a large part.  We need lots (about 8 glasses a day) of good pure water to stay healthy.

Just what does water do for us?  It aids in digestion and absorption of food by acting as a solvent, regulates our body temperature by acting as a coolant, regulates circulation, carries nutrients and oxygen to cells, removes toxins, cushions joints and protects tissues by acting as a lubricant... the list goes on and on.  We can survive without food for over 2 months, but we can only survive for a few days without good water.

What happens if we don't get enough water?  It can affect our health in a negative way.  Not drinking enough water will leave us under hydrated or dehydrated.  Out body will try to correct this by using strategies to conserve water. The lack of fresh water can result in many unpleasant symptoms, ailments or even illness or disease which may include daytime fatigue, headaches, back and joint pain, depression, constipation, asthma, colitis, hypertension.  Also when some people get thirsty, they believe they are hungry.  Drinking water when you feel hungry can often stop hunger pangs... especially when dieting.

Millions of households in the U.S. rely on private wells for their drinking water.  Close to 100,000 wells are drilled in the U.S. each year.  It is important to have your well system tested and maintained regularly by a trained, reputable, experienced professional to ensure your family's health.

Then I don't need to worry about water quality if I am not on a well, but am on city (municipal water)?

Wrong! Almost everybody in the U.S. has toxic chemicals lodge in fatty tissue from drinking tap water.  You hear more and more reports of the potentially dangerous levels of chloro/flouro chemicals, pesticides, lead, and even fecal bacteria being found in municipal drinking water.  Millions drink this water without thought of the need for further filtration, conditioning,  or treatment.  They seem to have no fear of the impurities now associated with cancer and metabolic dysfunction.

Please don't take the risks.  Instead ensure that your drinking water does not contain harmful chemicals. Over twenty years of experience (owner-operated for ten years).  We are whole house Reverse Osmosis specialists. There are no hidden costs. From water testing to complete systems, we will quickly have your drinking water conditioned and clean.
